Pickering was escorted off Augusta National grounds during Thursday’s first round after a series of escalating incidents that began with yelling ‘GET IN THE HOLE’ from approximately four feet behind Scottie Scheffler on the 13th tee. She then crossed the gallery ropes on three separate occasions, each time telling marshals she was ‘looking for her friend Brad.’ No one named Brad was located. The final incident involved an attempted embrace of Scheffler on the 15th fairway, during which Pickering reportedly told him he was ‘doing amazing, sweetie.’ Her blood alcohol level was .19. She had been on the grounds for approximately two hours. Her badge was a legitimate Tuesday practice round ticket being used on Thursday.
