CLEVELAND, OH — A 41-year-old man was arrested this week after allegedly constructing a functioning drive-thru window on the side of his house to sell stolen merchandise to customers without requiring them to leave their vehicles, an operation he branded — on a hand-painted sign — as “HOT STUFF EXPRESS: DRIVE THRU DEALS.”

Vincent Carl Brzezinski allegedly cut a service window into the side of his single-family home on Cleveland’s west side, installed a sliding glass panel and a small counter, and operated a roughly two-week enterprise selling allegedly stolen electronics, tools, and “name brand” merchandise to drivers who would pull into his driveway, place an order, and pull forward to the window.

Pull Forward to the Second Window

Investigators say Brzezinski had developed a genuine workflow, including a chalkboard menu of available “inventory,” a designated entrance and exit to manage driveway traffic, and a policy of “cash only, no returns.” The operation drew the attention of police after a neighbor reported a consistent line of cars idling in a residential driveway at odd hours, “like a Chick-fil-A, but concerning.”

An undercover officer placed an order — a “slightly used” power drill — and confirmed the merchandise matched items reported stolen in recent burglaries. Brzezinski was arrested at the window.
