Robichaux was arrested on Washington Road after operating a folding table from which she sold pimento cheese sandwiches in green wrappers stamped with a hand-drawn Augusta National logo for $45 each. The sandwiches, which she told customers were ‘the same ones they sell inside,’ were made from Velveeta and a jar of diced pimentos purchased at the Publix across the street earlier that morning. The receipt was still in her pocket. She had grossed approximately $1,800 before Richmond County deputies intervened. Several customers who had already eaten the sandwiches declined to press charges but described the experience as ‘deeply upsetting.’
