MURFREESBORO, TN — A 28-year-old woman was arrested for DUI on Saturday night after she called 911 to report a suspicious vehicle — her own — because she was “driving way too good for how drunk” she was and suspected her car might be “possessed or something.”

Brianna Kaye Stults reportedly dialed 911 at 11:22 p.m. from behind the wheel of her 2019 Nissan Altima, telling dispatchers she had consumed “like seven or eleven” margaritas at a Chili’s on Old Fort Parkway and was concerned that her vehicle was “driving itself” because she hadn’t hit anything yet.

The 911 call, portions of which were shared by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, features a dispatcher repeatedly attempting to clarify the nature of the emergency. At one point, Stults reportedly asked, “Is it illegal if the car is the one driving drunk? Because I’m not steering. I think it’s a ghost.”

Deputies located Stults parked diagonally across two spaces at a Walgreens, engine still running, with her hazard lights on. She reportedly greeted officers by saying, “Oh thank God, I called you guys like an hour ago.” A field sobriety test confirmed a BAC of 0.19 — more than twice the legal limit.

Stults was booked into Rutherford County Jail on charges of DUI and improper use of 911. Her booking entry on JailReport.lol has already racked up over 40,000 views. She was released on $1,000 bond the following morning and reportedly asked the releasing officer if her car had been “exorcised.”
