MACON, GA — A 22-year-old man was apprehended within forty-five minutes of robbing a Circle K convenience store on Tuesday evening, thanks in large part to the fact that he was still wearing his Arby’s uniform — complete with a name tag reading “TYLER B.” — during the holdup.

Tyler Rashawn Burkette allegedly entered the Circle K on Pio Nono Avenue at approximately 8:30 p.m., brandished what turned out to be a water pistol painted black, and demanded the clerk empty the register. The clerk complied, handing over approximately $187 in cash and a roll of scratch-off lottery tickets that Burkette reportedly requested “for the road.”

The Beef Was Not the Only Thing He Had

Investigators say the clerk immediately provided a detailed description to police, including the name “Tyler” and the Arby’s logo prominently displayed on his visor. Officers proceeded directly to the Arby’s location on Riverside Drive, where they found Burkette in the drive-thru window, mid-shift, allegedly still carrying the painted water gun in his apron pocket.

“He clocked back in. He actually went back to work. I don’t even know what to write in this report.” — Det. Marlon Ashby, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office

When confronted, Burkette allegedly told officers he thought the name tag “didn’t count” because he had covered the Arby’s logo with his hand during the robbery. Security footage confirmed he had not, in fact, covered anything.

Burkette was booked into the Bibb County Jail on charges of armed robbery and possession of a facsimile firearm. His JailReport.lol mugshot has become the top post in our Mugshot Hall of Fame, and yes — he’s still wearing the visor.
