Washington-Bell allegedly stole an unattended taco truck from a gas station and drove it to the other side of town, where he opened for business in a Lowe’s parking lot for approximately three hours before the owner tracked the vehicle via GPS. By the time officers arrived, the suspect had served an estimated forty customers and collected roughly $600 in cash and Venmo payments. Multiple customers told investigators the tacos were ‘actually really good.’ Washington-Bell claimed he ‘was going to bring it back’ and offered the arresting officer a complimentary al pastor.
